A big “congratulations” goes out to the boys JV and Varsity basketball teams last night for their wins against Church Hill Middle School. Go Redskins!!
If you are planning on helping with the Santa Train Service project see Mr. Walker today. We will meet at the train station this Saturday at 1:30pm. You will need to bring money for Hibbert Davis Coffee Shop. Parents should pick you up at 4:00pm.
November 13, 2014:
Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls: Softball conditioning is canceled for today.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes also known as, FCA, will be hosting an Operation Christmas Child event here at RNR on Thursday night, November 20th. Tickets are $5 and will be on sale through Wednesday, November 19th. Tickets may be purchased from Mrs. Bratton, Mrs. Mullins, or Mrs. Clifton.
Students helping with the Second Harvest Food Bank this Saturday are reminded to meet in front of the school at 11:00 am. Don’t forget to bring money for lunch. We will be back at 2:30 pm.
If you are interested in participating in the RNR Spelling Bee, please see your Language Arts teacher for a permission slip. Friday, Nov. 28th is the last day to turn in your permission slip to Mrs. Reynolds.

Want to win an ipad mini? Then contribute to the canned food drive. For every 5 canned food items you bring in, your name will be included in a drawing to win an ipad mini. If you bring in 20 cans, your name will be included 4 times to possibly win. Also, the winning class at each grade level will win a pizza party. The canned food drive will continue through Tuesday, November 25th, so please help us give back to our community and bring in your cans!
The JV boys basketball team beat Vance last night 50 to 34. The varsity lost a close game to Vance 42 to 34. Tomorrow afternoon we play Sevier here at home. Go Redskins!
Congratulations to the JV girls basketball team! They defeated Vance last night with a score of 24 to 16. Go Lady Redskins!

Congratulations to both JV and Varsity boys basketball teams. They beat T.A. Dugger last night. JV won 52 to 14 and Varsity won 42 to 40 in overtime. Go Redskins!
Ms. Sturgill, Ms. Grigsby and the scholastic book fair crew would like to thank everyone for our successful book fair. Also, we appreciate the support for our All for Books program! The book fair games will be completed at the spring pep rally.

Please remember to bring your canned food items to your homebase teacher each day starting today through Tuesday, November 25th. The winning homebase from each grade level will receive an award! Let’s beat last year’s total and reach our goal of 14,000!
Redskins Giving Back will be working for Second Harvest Food Bank –Project Thanksgiving. We will be sorting can goods and packing food boxes for area families. If you would like to go, pick up a permission slip form in the counseling office. The project is Saturday, Nov 15th. We will be gone 11:00am – 2:30pm and plan to eat at a local fast food restaurant on the way back. The trip is limited to 50 students.
Attention Students: There will be no praise and worship choir tomorrow morning.
